Energy Systems Engineering


The Department of Energy Systems Engineering at DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology, http:// invites applications for tenure-track professor positions in the following fields.

The candidates are expected to have expertise in the following fields:

Green energy conversion technology

   ▪ Thin film technology

   ▪ Clean and high efficiency conversion systems

Energy storage technology

   ▪ Post-Li batteries

               ▪ Next generation storage devices

Design & system technology

               ▪ Multi-scale computational modeling & data mining

               ▪ Device integration/assembly

The candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree in one of closely related fields and completed at least two years of professional work experience. Salary, rank, and incentives will be commensurate with qualifications.

Criteria for selection include potential to develop externally funded research program, promise of excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching in English, and leadership in technical and professional societies.
